海洋碳循环研究组（OCG- Ocean Carbon Group)隶属于厦门大学海洋环境科学国家重点实验室），她是于1999年戴民汉教授回国启动国家杰出青年基金课题（"珠江三角洲及其邻近的南海北部海域中碳的生物地球化学循环研究"）以后逐步发展起来的。研究组以国际研究热点—海洋碳循环与气候变化为主攻方向，目前主要围绕海洋碳循环从事海－气界面二氧化碳的交换、海洋无机碳\有机碳生物地球化学、海洋颗粒物动力学及其对元素生物地球化学循环的作用、痕量金属和放射性核素(Th, Ra等)地球化学及其环境效应等方向的研究。OCG研究组在海洋碳循环的关键生物地球化学过程方面具备了开展国际前沿研究的实力，已在国内外树立了良好的声誉，得到了广泛的认可。 研究组现有教授两名，副教授三名，讲师一名，博士后研究人员一名和研究助理五名。 Ocean Carbon Group is a research group of the (Xiamen University)State Key Laboratory of Marine Environmental Science . OCG is dedicated to researches on Carbon Transport, Transfer and Transformation (CAR-TTT) in continental margins with special attention to the Northern South China Sea and the Pearl River estuary.      In the overall context of ocean carbon cycle, on going research areas include: · Upper ocean biogeochemistry and its interaction with atmospheric carbon dioxide · The biogeochemistry of organic carbon-from its composition to source characterization · Application of radioactive and stable isotopes in the marine biogeochemistry The group includes 2 professors, 3 associate professors, 1 lecturer and 5 research assistants.
