The Summer Undergraduate Research Fellowship in Marine Environmental Science (URF) encourages undergraduate students to pursue science and technology careers by providing research experiences at the State Key Laboratory of Marine Environmental Science (MEL), Xiamen University.
The URF Program requires applicants be currently enrolled as a full-time undergraduate student in a STEM field (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) and be interested in pursuing a career in marine environmental science and/or technology.
The Fellowship requires 1-3 months research time at MEL, and provides round-trip travel expenses, accommodation and subsidy for URI students and research grant for project supervisors.
Applications are accepted each year in April - May. More information could be found at the annual guidelines.
